Zosia was very fond of drawing. One day, when she was looking for her crayons under her bed, she found a brand-new coloured crayon that she had never seen before. It had a little moon and stars painted on it. Zosia immediately decided to draw something with it. She sat down with her cat, Basil, at the big table, took a piece of paper, and started to draw a big balloon with coloured stripes. Suddenly, the crayon started to glow blue! The balloon in the drawing moved and then... it flew off the page! Zosia and Basil rubbed their eyes in astonishment. The balloon turned in the air and stopped in front of them, as if inviting them in. Zosia hesitated for only a moment, and then she and Basil climbed into the balloon. As soon as they sat down, the balloon rose and flew straight through the window, over the roofs of the houses. Strange, funny creatures and flying castles began to appear outside the window. Then the balloon took a sharp turn and flew into a huge, swirling cloud.
