Zosia and the enchanted grandfather clock
Zosia was a very curious little girl. One cloudy afternoon she visited her grandfather, who lived in an old house at the end of Cherry Street. Grandpa had a huge cellar full of all sorts of things - old books, colourful hats, toys and cocoa cans. Zosia loved to go down there with her dog Fafik.
That day, as the torchlight flashed in the darkness, Zosia noticed a bizarre clock. It was tall, wooden and decorated with intricate carvings. Zosia felt her head spinning. Fafik barked. Suddenly... everything went quiet. The girl and her dog were in a completely different place!
In front of them stretched an old town full of tall towers and funny vehicles on big wheels. People were wearing colourful hats and laughing merrily. Children in funny trousers with braces ran among the crowd. In the distance, Sophie saw a huge mechanical windmill spinning and pouring golden sparks onto the street.
Suddenly, someone called her name....
