Zosia and Kuba's Great Adventure with the Clockwork
In a small village, under a larch roof, lived Zosia and her younger brother Kuba. One afternoon, as the wind danced through the garden, the children were playing hide and seek in their grandfather's cellar. There, behind an old armchair, Kuba found something unusual - a shiny old clock with lots of colourful buttons and hands that whirled like a carousel.
- What is it? - asked Zosia, looking at the strange device.
- A clock! - read Kuba from a plate stuck on the side.
Suddenly, the clock started blinking green. When Kuba pressed the biggest button, everything around it spun. The basement walls disappeared!
The children felt a breeze and heard birds singing. They were suddenly standing in a huge clearing, with colourful flowers as big as umbrellas growing all around them. In the distance they saw something else strange - huge footprints as if they were feet, which led into a forest with trees as tall as the towers of a castle!
- Where are we? - whispered Zosia, squeezing her brother's hand tighter.
- Maybe in another era? - whispered Kuba, looking at the Clock, which was now ticking quietly.
Suddenly a twig snapped. Someone or something moved in the bushes right next to them. The children looked in that direction, and their hearts beat harder....
