The Eldar forest was a place where the sun poked through the dense treetops and the shadowy paths hid endless secrets. The main character in this story is Zorro, a young wolf whose coat had unusual silvery highlights. Zorro belonged to a small but brave pack in which everyone had their place: there was the clever Lira, the greatest prankster Haro and the cautious but observant Yuki. One night the pack gathered around an old oak tree. The wolves were restless - several young rabbits had disappeared in recent days and even the magpie Pina, who always circled above the clearing, had not returned to her nest. The animals in the forest were talking about the 'Shadow', which was said to appear after dark. Zorro, unable to sleep, listened to the conversation of the older wolves. "It's probably another fox, nothing more," muttered someone from the crowd. But Zorro knew it was something more serious this time. His friends - Lira, Haro and Yuki - were also consumed by curiosity and anxiety. In the morning, all four of them went in search of tracks. They followed a trail of trampled grass, scattered feathers and indistinct paw prints that led deeper and deeper into unknown parts of the forest with each step. Lira spotted a piece of shiny black fur that did not match any of the forest animals they knew. Haro, though always joking, was now silent - his nose sensed something strange in the air. As the sun began to set, the wolves reached an old, abandoned burrow. Inside it was cold and damp, and remnants of cobwebs hung from the walls. A ring of sticks with engraved runes lay in the middle. Yuki walked closer, examining the marks - they didn't resemble any she had seen before. "This looks like a warning," she whispered, feeling growing anxiety. Suddenly, there was a quiet, dragging murmur that did not resemble any animal known to Zorrow. Everyone froze, listening to the sounds of the surrounding darkness. Zorro raised his head and saw, deep in the burrow, two glowing green eyes looking straight at him....
