Ola really liked to visit her grandmother. Grandma lived in a yellow house with blue windows and had the most delicious pancakes in the world. In her grandmother's kitchen there was a huge old cupboard. Ola often looked at the colourful plates and jars full of sweets. But the most interesting thing was the special drawer that creaked every time it was opened. On that rainy afternoon, Ola and her younger brother Stas decided to see what was hidden inside. When Ola pulled out the drawer, she saw that there was a shiny red apple inside.... even though she had looked in there in the morning and there was only a spoon! Staś squealed: - Gosh, it's an enchanted drawer after all! Ola giggled with her brother and they decided to see if the drawer would show them anything else. They closed it slowly, and when they pulled again - there was a fragrant shortbread croissant with a smiling face made of icing sugar waiting there! Staś already wanted to reach in, but the croissant blinked at him with one eye. The children looked at each other with wide eyes. - What would happen if we asked the drawer for strawberry ice cream? - whispered Ola. They both put their hands on the drawer and whispered a wish. As they opened it slowly, they heard quiet bells inside. What would be in it this time?
