Felek, a small badger, lives by an old oak tree. His burrow is warm and smells of needles. In the morning he gets up early and looks for new treasures. He sees strange footprints in the sand, like stars. He touches them carefully with his cold and wet nose. The footprints sparkle in the sun and do not disappear at all. Mickey the magpie arrives and cawing curiously. - Where are the footsteps coming from, Felix? - he asks. Spotted frog jumps out of the reeds and croaks. - Maybe it's a fish out for a walk? - he laughs. Felek nods and sets off after the footsteps. Bees join in, buzzing like little bells. The footprints lead through the moss until they come to a quiet river. On the bank lies an old stump with a hole in it. Here the glitter ends and the silence grows. From the trunk comes a whisper and a soft green glow. - Hello? Who lives there? - calls out Felek. The trunk trembles and a pair of shining eyes flashes in the hole.
