At Hela's grandmother's house there was the smell of bread and raspberries. Zosia came with Kuba for the weekend. They enjoyed chasing the dog, Pixel, around the garden. It was quiet and stuffy that day. Suddenly, under the stairs, something clattered quietly. The step vibrated, as if someone was whispering there. "Grandma, did you hear that tapping too?" Cuba asked in a whisper and looked at the stairs. Grandma just blinked and handed over the torch. "Secrets like children, not dust," she said. Zosia crouched down and looked under the stairs.
