Hania likes school and the quiet of the morning. She arrives early and sits in an empty classroom. A clock ticks on the wall, crayons on the shelf. Suddenly the bell sounds like a little laugh. Not the same as always, just shorter and weirder. Olek enters the classroom with a checked backpack. Did you hear that, Olek? asks Hania in a whisper. Olek nods and looks out into the corridor. There is a low, yellow cupboard there, which they don't know. There is a bell sticker on the door. Mrs Marta is busy with the map, so she doesn't look. Suddenly, a quiet buzzing is heard from the cupboard, like a bee. The door vibrates and something silver flashes. Hania squeezes the crayon because she's a little scared. Olek says, come on, let's check before the bell rings again. They move carefully across the benches, their shoes tapping. They put their hand on the door handle and then they hear a whisper. - 'Don't open it unless you have the courage,' says the voice.
