Zosia had just finished building the tallest tower of blocks in her life. She was sitting in the middle of the room when she noticed something strange. Her green carpet moved slightly, even though no one was walking on it, and the window was closed at all times. Zosia wrinkled her nose. After all, carpets don't move! Out of curiosity, she put both hands on it. The carpet was warm, as if the sun was shining on it, although it was already late afternoon. Suddenly, shiny silver threads appeared at the end of the carpet and began to twist and weave. Zosia rubbed her eyes - perhaps she had been predicting? The threads shimmered in blue, gold and pink. The carpet moved even more strongly. Zosia felt a tickle under her fingers, and then... she heard a quiet voice: - Hey, Sophie! Ready for an adventure? She looked around quickly, but saw no one. She glanced at her plush frog, Bolka, who always sat by her pillow. It wasn't a frog. The voice was coming from under her hands - from the carpet itself! - My carpet can talk? - she whispered. The carpet trembled and lifted a few inches above the floor. The blocks rolled and toppled over with a slight clatter. Zosia took a deep breath and sat down in a Turkish position in the middle of it. For a moment, everything around her seemed quieter. Even the clock stopped ticking. - 'If you want, I can show you something very unusual,' the carpet spoke again, and its threads shone more and more strongly. - But you must close your eyes and think of a place you have always wanted to visit. Zosia only thought for a second. She closed her eyes and imagined a big, colourful meadow, full of butterflies and flowers. That's when she felt the carpet start to rise higher and higher.... Would Zosia get where she dreamed she would? Or will something completely unexpected happen to her?
