At the edge of town, where the shadows of the lampposts danced amidst the mist, the illuminated tent of the Circus of Illusions, illuminated by dozens of lamps, resounded with laughter and bustle. The final preparations before the night show were just underway. Every performer knew their place here - fire master Lena was warming up torches, juggler Alex was testing his balance on a white rope, and young dog trainer Marta was surreptitiously watching them behind the curtain. On this night, however, the tension was higher than usual. Something special was about to take place - the 'Vanishing Number', already announced for weeks as the greatest magic show in circus history. The leading role was to be played by the charming, if somewhat mysterious illusionist Viktor. No one, not even his closest colleagues, knew exactly what the number was about. Viktor would lock himself in his dressing room for long hours, scrambling for plans and props, and in the evenings would whisper to his trusted assistant, Klara, about details unknown to anyone. Just before the show started, there was an air of unease in the air. Suddenly, someone from the staff rushed in from backstage: "One of the key props has gone missing! Without it, the number might not go on!". Viktor, pale as a wall, looked meaningfully at Klara. Was someone trying to sabotage the show, or had the prop disappeared in a .... supernaturally? The first sound of fanfare rang out in the audience, and all the artists looked at each other in suspense.
