Beyond the green hill, just behind Zuzi's house, stretched a forest. It was no ordinary forest - the trees whispered, the birds sang the strangest melodies and sometimes coloured lights flashed between the bushes. One morning, Susie decided to go for an expedition. She wore a yellow jacket, blue wellingtons and a pink rucksack, in which she hid a cheese roll and an apple. The sun was shining strongly and the wind was playing with her hair. Walking along the path, Susie suddenly noticed something strange under a bush. It was a small, shiny stone with green and purple spots. As soon as she picked it up, she felt a slight tickle in her fingers, and swirling sparks began to appear around her. The forest became as quiet as ever. Susie heard a thin voice: - Hey, little girl! - A tiny hedgehog in a blue cap appeared right at her feet. - Can you speak? - Susie asked in surprise. - Of course! - replied the hedgehog. - This is no ordinary forest. Now when you hold the enchanted stone, you can see more than other people. At that moment a rabbit in a black tailcoat came out from behind a tree and joined Susie and the hedgehog. The rabbit looked around and said seriously: - We must hurry. The stone has awakened the Great Guardian and the gates to the hidden clearing are about to open. Susie looked in the direction the rabbit pointed with his paw. Amidst the trees, glowing gates slowly appeared. From behind them came the sound of laughter and quiet songs. Susie squeezed the stone tighter in her hand and felt her heart beat faster. Should she cross the magic gate together with her new friends?
