Zosia was seven years old and very curious. She had always lived next to the old radio tower. She liked to build rockets out of cardboard and tape. One night a second, small moon appeared. It flashed like a torch and moved slowly. Zosia counted the flashes and wrote them down in her notebook. In the morning she found a silver, strange seed by the sandpit. The grain beeped quietly and was warm in her hand. Immediately Leon and the robo-dog Pico arrived. The robo-dog buzzed and waved its magnetic tail cheerfully. The seed unfolded into a small map of light. A dotted line led to a door in the tower. - 'It's an invitation, I think,' whispered Zosia quietly. - Or a request for help - added Leon. They gathered torches, a compass and a snack jar. At the bottom of the tower, a hidden panel flashed blue. Pico touched it with his nose and the panel blinked. The door hissed and opened a cool tunnel downwards. The floor pulsed with light, like a calm heart in the darkness. A low, pleasant hum came from deep within. A lift marked To the Clouds stopped in front of them. A voice said: - Please state the mission captain. - Captain Zosia? - asked the voice and the countdown began. - Three... two... - The door began to close.
