Professor Buzzer's crazy laboratory

Professor Buzzer's crazy laboratory
The clatter of an old bicycle echoed loudly in the silence of a Saturday afternoon as Patrick, Nina and Maks rode along a gravel road on the outskirts of town. Each of them had a phone in their pocket, but they were all unanimous that today was to be an "analogue" day - with no internet, memes or notifications. Everything was going according to plan until Maks noticed something that shook them out of their routine. - 'Oi, look! - he called out, pointing to a large, bent antenna sticking out from behind a hedge. Around the bend, where the road was blocked by a massive gate with a sign saying 'Do not enter! Experimental work", the estate began, about which legends circulated in the school. It was said to be home to some mad inventor, Professor Buzzer, who could make onions sing opera arias and bananas glow in the dark. - Let's go and see! The last one is a sock without a pair! - shouted Nina, already leaping over the rusting fence. Patrick looked at Maks, shrugged his shoulders and followed her. After a few minutes of winding their way through the bushes, they came across something startling. The tall metal structure looked like a combination of a silo and a giant tea kettle. More pieces looked like they had come from a "Scrap or Art?" exhibition. In the middle of the shed stood a cat, which had on its head.... a helmet from an old hoover. Maks approached cautiously. - I swear, if that thing blinks, I'm going home. At the same moment they heard a loud "BOOM!" and Professor Buzzer ran out of the upper floor, wearing an apron stained with an unknown substance and.... slippers with rabbit ears. He was pulling behind him a huge pipe from which different coloured confetti was pouring out. - Ah! New volunteers for the experiment! Please, please come inside! - he called out, and a ball of energy resembling candyfloss rolled down the stairs behind him. A moment later, unusual objects began to appear everywhere: a flying notebook, a laughing clock and even a sausage bouncing to the rhythm of techno. Patrick looked at his friends in disbelief. - Either we had fallen into a dreamy nightmare, or it was the best day of our lives. The buzzer squatted conspiratorially and whispered: - I need your cleverness. Just today I am launching my latest invention: The Imagination Multiplier! But... there's a slight problem. Someone (or something) has mixed up the ingredients and I have no idea what will happen if I turn the device on.... They didn't even have time to ask what threatened them the most, because at that moment a cat with a helmet jumped on the control panel and pressed a big red button....
