Night patrol in the Land of Teeth
The Land of the Teeth stretched beneath the very surface of the smile. At night, the usual busyness left it and the really important things began. For Lena and Kacper, the guardians of this land, this night was special.
The moon was peeking out from behind a gummy hill, and the dew from fresh breath was glistening on the pearly walls of the Toothcroft. Lena touched up her silver coat and checked that her toothbrush-blade was sharpened according to the instructions of the old menthol paste. Kacper crunched a carrot and nodded to her - a sign that he was ready.
In recent weeks, rumours had been multiplying in the Land of Teeth about Plakus - a treacherous bacteria that slips in where dental floss has not reached. Residents feared that if Plakus took control of one of the Molar Towers, the whole land would be doomed to the darkness of decay!
As the children dashed along the glazed bridge, they felt a sudden chill. A muffled sound of giggling reached them from afar, and something dark flashed on the thirteenth tooth. That was where the hidden crevice led - legend had it that only the bravest could sneak through it. Lena pulled out a paste-guard and whispered: - Ready?
Kacper nodded. They approached the thirteenth tooth, feeling the breath of adventure on their necks. There were increasingly strong murmurs - was it Plakus and his entourage preparing an attack?
At the same moment, a mysterious shadow emerged from behind a crevice and said in a creaky voice: - Who dares to enter my hole?
