Darkness enveloped the quiet room as Marek, Lena and Igor finished the last episode of their favourite TV series. They were alone at home - their parents had gone away for the weekend, leaving them with some freedom and a lot of responsibility. The group of friends had been planning this night for a long time: a night full of long conversations, games and culinary experiments. What they hadn't anticipated, however, was what would happen just after midnight. - 'Oi, do you guys smell that weird mint smell too? - Lena asked, glancing suspiciously at the cosmetics shelf in the bathroom. Marek raised an eyebrow, setting his teeth down to brush (his favourite sonic toothbrush). - Maybe someone had left the toothpaste open. Or... - He broke off abruptly, staring at the mirror. Behind their reflections appeared a narrow, glittering gap from which a bluish light was seeping. There was something mesmerising about this view - as if someone had invited them in. Suddenly, a tiny figure emerged from the depths of the crevice - in a white apron, with a huge toothbrush in her hand. - 'Don't be afraid,' she spoke quietly. - My name is Professor Szkliwiak. We need your help in the Tooth Kingdom. Come quickly, before the Toothpods take control of our land! Igor, known for his scepticism, burst out laughing, but before he could say anything more, he felt something pull him towards the rift. All three, despite their fears, succumbed to the magical force and - without knowing how - found themselves on the other side of the mirror. The ground beneath their feet was as soft as cotton wool, and the air smelled fresh of mint and lemon. From afar came the sounds of alarm. Chaos was growing all around them - small, spherical creatures in white cloaks were running around with miniature dental floss, trying to stop the charging army of dark, sticky creatures with hollow, black teeth. - 'We've got to hurry up! - cried Professor Szkliwiak. - The decaying creatures are getting closer and closer to the Crown Chamber! If they get there, our whole land will be plunged into chaos.... At the same moment, the huge doors of the Chamber shook under the pressure of the dark monsters. The friends looked at each other, sensing that the strangest and most exciting adventure of their lives awaited them. Then the door let go with a bang, and a terrifying, throaty roar came from inside the Chamber....
