In a small house at the end of Sock Street lived Mr Stefan. He had unusual socks in his drawer - each was a different colour and pattern, and they all had hairy pompoms on their toes. But the strangest thing was that these socks never wanted to stay paired! Every morning Mr Stefan found them in completely different places: once on the windowsill, once on the kitchen table, and once even in the fridge next to the raspberry jam. One morning, Mr. Stefan decided to put on his most spacey green socks with yellow pompoms. As soon as he put them on, he felt a slight tickle. "What a splash these socks are today!" - he laughed. Suddenly, something quietly giggles from under the bed. Mr Stefan bends down and sees.... his other sock! The sock escapes through the door, jumps over his slippers and runs into the backyard, where three curious hens are sitting on the grass: Clementine, Balbina and Jadzia. The hens look at Sock with open beaks. The sock starts dancing in a circle and then does a little pirouette. The hens cluck with joy and start chasing her all over the yard! Mr Stefan runs after them, trying to catch the fleeing sock. It falls over the rake and lands on the haystack. The hens laugh to their hearts' content and the sock suddenly disappears.... At that moment something colourful sticks out of the bush and starts moving.... What could it be?
