Moon Gate Project
Lunarum Station, the largest base on the Silver Globe, was bustling even late at night. Artificial sunlight illuminated the corridors, and through the panoramic windows one could see the boundless black sky and the Earth glittering in the distance. In the underground laboratory, amidst the hum of computers, sat Lea, Iwo and Max - best friends since the Academy. Each of them had their own reason for being so far from home. Lea dreamt of discovering something that would make history. Iwo was fascinated by technology and Max - he had always wanted a real adventure.
That evening, as the Earth's shadow moved across the moon's surface, Max came across something disturbing - a strange anomaly in the base's power systems. The indications led to a disused warehouse where no one had been for years. "Let's have a look in there! After all, we didn't come to the moon to solve boring puzzles at monitors!" - he whispered wryly.
As they passed through the heavy, dusty doors, an old lift leading deep down appeared to their eyes. The lift shook, and after a moment they stood in a dark tunnel. Torches illuminated the smooth metal walls, covered with strange markings. A faint blue glow glowed at the end of the tunnel. The closer they approached, the stronger they felt the pulsing heat and trembling of the air.
At last they reached a wide chamber, in the centre of which floated a circular portal - pulsating with light, oozing with mystery. Next to it lay an old, running computer terminal. On the screen was a single question: "Are you ready for discovery?"
Lea, Iwo and Max looked at each other, their hearts beating faster. Should they enter the unknown? The portal was waiting, and the answer was theirs....
