Lila lived on Cloud Station Three, high above the Earth. Her best friend was the robot-cat Spade. Together they looked out of the window at the silent stars. Lila dreamt of a little rocket trip. On a shelf stood their shiny rocket Bubble. A small map of the stars hung on the wall. One morning the radar beeped with a short beep-beep. Peak raised his ears and his blue eyes lit up. A map of an unknown moon flashed on the screen. - There, someone is winking at us,' Lila whispered. They opened the hatch and slid into the Bubble. The belts clicked and the engine purred, the rocket took off. Outside the window, dust and small meteors glowed. A flickering point grew and turned into a rock. On the surface they could see a row of even lights. Lila turned on the landing and counted to three. The bubble touched the ground, and then someone knocked. He knocked a second time, louder, and called Lila by name.
