The blue sky of midnight illuminated the first rays of the sun as Eirik stood on the edge of the cliffs, gazing out at the turbulent waters of the Baltic Sea. The village of Jomsborg, surrounded by high palisades, bustled with life amidst the harsh, wild landscape. The shouts of warriors, the sound of sharpened axes and the laughter of youths resounded - but on this day the atmosphere was different from usual. Rumours had reached the village about a mysterious map that Ingrid, the youngest daughter of the local blacksmith, had accidentally found. Eirik was no ordinary boy - his father had fallen in battle with the Saxons, and his mother, a quack, believed that Eirik's destiny was written in the stars. Although he was barely seventeen, he already carried courage and cunning worthy of the greatest warriors. Together with his friends Ingrid and Bjorn, son of Jomsborg's most famous sailor, they set out to unravel the mystery of an old map on which strange runes marked something deep beneath the cliffs. Under cover of darkness, sneaking out through the gate, Eirik carried the map hidden under his cloak and the bone handle of an old sword inherited from his father. The group of friends, despite the immense tension, could not hide their excitement when they arrived at the place indicated by the runes. In front of them stretched a dark cave, from which came a barely audible, melodious reverberation - as if someone had been waiting for their arrival for a long time. As Bjorn pulled out a lit torch, copper reflections shone among the rocks on the bizarre symbols carved into the walls. They were met by sudden gusts of cool air, and the shadow of something huge flashed somewhere deeper inside the cave. Just as they were ready to take the first step into the depths, Ingrid read a fragment of ancient runes, and the ground beneath their feet unexpectedly began to tremble, causing all three of them to stop in their tracks - something was approaching....
