A shadow fell on the grey walls of the town as Lena, Wojtek, Sara and Emil crossed the gate of the abandoned amusement park. The park, closed for years, tempted with legends of unexplained phenomena. Old merry-go-rounds creaked quietly, as if something was waiting for visitors. Wojtek - always the first to risk it - pointed to a huge hedge maze that surrounded almost half the site. "Have you heard that you can find treasure inside?" he laughed, trying to relieve the tension. Lena pressed her hands into the pockets of her sweatshirt, feigning indifference, although her heart was beating faster. Sara, the most sceptical of the group, raised an eyebrow: "And apparently whoever goes in doesn't always come out the same." Emil, for his part, was strangely quiet, watching his friends a little sideways. They entered the labyrinth. The silence was thick, and each step cut them off more and more from the world outside. The living walls of the labyrinth seemed to pulsate, reflecting whispered words and echoing giggles that quickly turned into nervous laughter. Suddenly, as they reached the first fork, Lena felt an unease sweep over her - so strong that she felt as if something was squeezing her throat. "Let's not go down that path..." she said quietly, not knowing why. Suddenly the path she was looking at began to shrink and overgrow, as if responding to her anxiety. Wojtek turned pale: "Does... does the labyrinth change because of our thoughts?" Emil looked at him seriously. "Maybe by our emotions." They all stopped in place and the labyrinth around them took on strange, rippling shapes. A rustle came from the distance, which did not resemble an ordinary wind at all. Sara squeezed Lena's hand tighter. "We have to stick together," she whispered. At the same moment, one of the walls of the labyrinth began to shift, slowly revealing a narrow passage from which a faint, pulsating glow came....
