Imagination Workshop
On a rainy Wednesday, Lena was rummaging through her rucksack, trying to find a torch, when the forest around her closed in with a thick green-grey mist. The plan was simple: a quick hike with the dog before it fell apart for good. But at the end of the familiar path, where ferns and old spruces usually grew, she saw something that had never been there - the outline of a building, silent and gleaming with wet bricks.
Lena came closer, and from the upstairs windows, empty frames looked out at her, like eyes watching among the trees. Although she should have returned, something was drawing her back. The front door gave way under the touch of her hand, creaking draughty. Inside, the walls were covered with shimmering mosaics and bizarre drawings - colourful dragons, swirling stars, trees with purple leaves.
- Lena! Where are you! - Maks, her friend from the neighbourhood, ran out from around the corner. He was holding his mobile phone, shining a torch around the corners.
- Here! - she exclaimed, and the echo spread down the corridor. They both stood for a moment, absorbing the unusualness of the place. Suddenly, Lena noticed something strange: another door appeared at the end of the corridor. They were different from all the others - covered with drawings that seemed to move when she looked longer.
- What is that? - whispered Maks.
They approached slowly. Lena reached out her hand, touching the cool handle. The door opened noiselessly, and to their eyes appeared a room full of ....
And it was at this point that Lena felt reality begin to shift, the walls around her spinning and the sounds of the forest quieting. Something strange was happening to their minds - everything they had imagined was slowly beginning to take shape around them. Maks looked at Lena with bewildered eyes, and an unspoken question hung in the air: how far could this place and their own imagination take them?
