It had been raining outside since early morning. Ola was sitting under the table, covered with a blanket. She was building a small tent for herself and Bear. Mum was brewing tea in the kitchen and the cat was napping. Drops tapped on the glass like silent drums. Suddenly Ola's hand touched something cold and metal. Under the carpet was a round flap with a circle. She had never seen it, although she knew this corner. Ola pulled the circle and the flap opened. From the hole there was the smell of pine trees, moss and cake. Inside, a circle glowed like a mirror on water. On the edge, little letters danced like skylights. Ola slid her head under the table, her heart beating faster. She heard bells ringing far away and a quiet cry for help. - Hello, who's there? - whispered Ola. The circle moved and showed a forest with a blue sky. On the other side someone waved a small hand at her. The circle flashed, the blanket slid off, the flap opened wider. Ola drew in a breath and held out her hand towards....
