Erik and the whisper of the fjord
On the shore of the fjord lived a little Viking named Erik. He had a red coat and a dragon's cap. Every morning he helped his dad with the boat. The boat had a dragon's head made of wood. That day the sea was like a mirror.
Erik heard a quiet whisper from under the pier. The whisper said: "Come up, quick, just you". The boy crouched down and touched the cool plank. A small stone tile glittered between the boards. On the tile glowed the strange rune of a wave.
Erik called out to Freja, his brave friend. "Don't tell anyone," asked a whisper from under the platform. The waves suddenly moved the boat near the shore. A dragon-shaped sign circled on the water. The tile trembled and fell into the water. "Follow the light if you dare," it whispered. Erik and Freja jumped into the small boat. Fog drifted down from the mountains, silent as fur. Suddenly something large appeared just in front of the bow.
