Emil and the Land of Colourful Feelings
One morning, seven-year-old Emil woke up with a funny feeling in his tummy. Today was his first day to go to his new kindergarten. Mum had given him raspberry cereal for breakfast, but Emil didn't even want to eat it. His head was full of questions and thoughts clung like turnips: "Will someone want to play with me? Will I find a friend?".
As he walked with his mother through the colourful park, he stopped for a moment under a big old oak tree. Suddenly, he felt the ground tremble gently beneath his feet. He closed his eyes and. when he opened them, he saw that everything around him had changed! The trees were orange and purple and the sky was green. There were funny, fluffy clouds flying around and smiling at the boy.
A girl with blue pigtails waved at him from afar. "Hi, I'm Susie. Welcome to the Land of Colourful Emotions! Here everyone can see what emotions they have. Look!" Susie clapped her hands and her pigtails flashed with a bright yellow light.
Emil looked around carefully. Right next to him was the river of joy - its water was pink and laughed softly, bubbling. On the other side, he saw a house of sadness made of blue stones, at which a teddy bear sat and muttered quietly to himself. There was also the Green Link of Serenity and the Red Bridge of Anger, which was shaking and screeching a little.
Susie ran up to Emil and grabbed his hand. "Come on, I'll show you where your feelings live! But first we have to go through the Labyrinth of Bewilderment. They say it sometimes changes every time someone goes inside..."
Emil felt his heart beat faster. What awaited them beyond the gates of the Labyrinth of Astonishment? Would they find the home of his emotions, or would they experience something even more extraordinary? Just then, they heard a mysterious rustling coming from the depths of the labyrinth....
