Something was happening here that had long fired their imagination. From the library, according to urban legend, a hidden passage led to a small underground. Apparently, anyone who dared to go down there after dark came into contact with their own emotions, which took shape and were able to .... talk. Amidst the dancing lights of the lanterns and Bartek's sassy smile, the group settled on a plan: today, for the first time, they would cross the threshold of the forbidden door in the basement of the library. Ola, seemingly the bravest, held a torch in her hand, but her fingers were barely perceptibly trembling. With a bang, the heavy door closed behind them. The air underground was damp and smelled of dust. The corridors were full of quiet rustling. At one point, completely unexpectedly, laughter began to echo between the bricks - quiet but full of tension. Marta felt her heart speed up, Bartek tried to throw in a joke, but his voice stuck in his throat. Michael knelt down, studying the footsteps on the ground, when suddenly a whisper came from across the room, calling out names. Their own names. Suddenly the walls flared with light, and a figure emerged from the shadows, whose face each of them saw differently. To Martha - stern and judging.
