Stella squeezed the console with her hands. "What's going on?" she asked as Raul stared at the charts and Anya tried to pick something out from among the distorted noises. Suddenly, an unfamiliar symbol appeared on the monitor. It flicked brightly for a split second and then disappeared, leaving a deafening silence in its wake.
