Echoes of the Dark Corridor
Tosiek has always believed that the unknown is a challenge, not an obstacle. But that night, standing in front of the tall doors of the old school, his courage began to melt.
The school had been abandoned for years. Rumour had it that echoes of the emotions of former pupils - laughing, crying and even shouting - remain in its dark corridors. None of his friends dared to go inside after dark. Tosiek, however, together with Zuza and Igor, decided to check it out.
They shone torches in front of the entrance. Each of them hid their emotions under a layer of jokes, but deep down they knew that the fear was real. Tosiek walked first, trying to ignore the trembling of his hands. The deeper they went, the louder their own breaths became.

Tosiek felt panic rising within him, but at the same time excitement was rising. Neither of them knew whether they should run away or check who or what was hiding there. Excitement and fear collided in an instant, and the question hung in the air: what was waiting behind the door?
Tosiek slowly, with a trembling hand, presses the handle and the torchlight flashes in the darkness....
