Doors in Zosia's wardrobe
Zosia sat in her room and drew. It was raining and the cat Feather was purring quietly. In the corner stood her grandmother's old wardrobe. Zosia opened the door to hide her crayons. Inside it smelled of wood and soap. A small, round dot flashed on the back wall. Zosia did not remember such a dot before. The dot glowed with a faint blue light in the darkness. A feather meowed and whispered: "Don't come in, Zosia!" Zosia touched the dot slowly with one finger. The cupboard rang quietly, as if a bell were playing.
A small door appeared on the wall. The handle was from the button of her jumper. "Is this a joke?" asked Zosia in a whisper. Feather moved his moustache and stood next to it. The door vibrated and creaked like a small cart. There were no shelves or coats behind the door. There was a tunnel of blinking dots and a wind. The wind smelled of raspberries and the distant sea. From the end of the tunnel, a quiet voice could be heard. "Sophie, open up, please, because I'm losing my key!" Someone knocked three times on the small door. Zosia grabbed the handle and the tunnel lit up.
