In the old villa at Stefania's grandmother's house, creaking at every turn, time flowed differently. Klara and Luke, siblings from the big city, had long suspected that the house was hiding something unusual. One rainy afternoon, when a storm chased them out of the garden, they decided to explore the hitherto inaccessible cellar. Ever since they could remember, their grandmother had said: "Don't go down there without an adult!" But now they were adults after all, weren't they? In the dark, with a torch in their phone, they descended the wooden staircase. Among a pile of old trunks and boxes stood a huge cast-iron clock with a pendulum, covered in a layer of dust. It looked very, very old - the hands were stopped at 3:33am. - 'I wonder if it works,' muttered Luke, lightly tapping the dial with his finger. At the same moment, they felt a strange tingling under their skin. The walls swirled, the air thickened.... When they opened their eyes, the cellar had disappeared. They were standing in the middle of a crowded market square, where carriages drove and people spoke a strangely old-fashioned language. The women wore wide skirts and the men tall hats. - Where are we? - whispered Klara. Before they had time to look around, a boy not much older than them approached them. He looked at them penetratingly and said: - I know who you are. You should not be here... But if you really want to come back, you must come with me. Immediately.
