The lights of the city of Aurora shone in the darkness like a hundred thousand stars, reflecting off the glass skyscrapers. The sound of cars, the bustle of the streets and the laughter of people in the evening blended into an unmistakable hum, making the night seem vibrant. It was here, on the 33rd floor of the Aurora Prime apartment building, that Lena lived - a cyberpsychology student who had always felt she didn't fit in with ordinary people. For as long as she could remember, the world around her had seemed more intense: colours sat side by side with sounds, and alien emotions like a gentle breeze brushed her skin. But it wasn't until recently that something unusual happened - Lena began to hear other people's thoughts on the underground, to see the afterimages of the future in the reflection of the mirrored glass. Her friend Arthur, a computer scientist and fan of old comic books, didn't believe in such things. Although he was brilliant at hacking and solving puzzles, he believed that the world was governed by logic. However, one night as they were walking back together from the underground Nova club, Arthur noticed that the light in his hand was dispersing the darkness, creating the outline of an invisible shield around them. Intrigued, they started looking online for information about similar phenomena. It soon became apparent that they were not the only ones. During a rooftop meeting with Lena and Artur, they are joined by two more: Igor, a quiet boy from the neighbourhood who can move objects with the power of his will, and Nadia, an artist with eyes reflecting the colours of every mood, who can turn thoughts into real images. One evening, the whole team meets at an abandoned underground station, where a tunnel famous for bizarre phenomena suddenly bursts into light. Shimmering silhouettes begin to emerge from the walls, whose shapes are difficult to recognise immediately. Lena feels an unfamiliar voice echoing in her head: "We've been waiting for you...". Everyone froze, feeling that from this moment on, their lives would never be the same as before.
