Deep in the fragrant forest, where the trees hum even on windless days, lived a teddy bear named Bruno. Bruno was small, fluffy and always wore a colourful bell around his neck, which rang merrily when he ran around with his friends. The bell was a gift from his grandmother and Bruno loved it very much. One morning, as the sun was lazily peeking out from behind the hills, Bruno stretched out on his soft bed and froze. His bell was gone! He looked around his mink, peeked under his pillow, checked between his crayons and behind his favourite teddy bear-mask. Empty. - I have to find him! - thought Bruno and quickly ran outside. His friends Pola the owl, Tymek the hare and Lusia the squirrel were already waiting in the clearing. Bruno told them what had happened. - I lost my little bell! - he sighed sadly. - Let's check out the forest! - suggested Tymek, jumping from foot to foot. - Maybe someone saw something unusual that night? - asked the owl Pola, squinting wisely. So they set off together, looking under mosses, clumps of grass and footprints in the sand. Lusia suddenly called out: - Look! There are little paw prints here, and a dropped feather next to it! The friends leaned closer, trying to guess who the footprints belonged to and where they might lead. Had Bruno's bell really been taken? And why? They all looked at each other with baked cheeks, and their hearts began to beat faster when they unexpectedly heard a quiet sound coming from behind the nearest bush....
