Blue Silence
Pomegranate Station lay on the edge of town, unused for years. Only the old lamps cast a yellow light on the cracked concrete when Eve, Kuba and Patryk first decided to come here at night. They sat on a bench, far away from each other, each immersed in their thoughts, letting the silence stretch between them like an old, tattered cloak.
It started innocently enough. Cuba chuckled: "And you, what are you most afraid of?". Eve shrugged her shoulders, looking somewhere above the rails, as if she could find the answer there. Patrick was silent for longer than usual. The wind wheezed through the empty platforms, and in the distance dogs barked at something they couldn't see.
Finally, Patrick dared to say, "I'm not afraid of the monsters themselves. I'm afraid of what will happen if I'm left alone when they appear." The words hung in the air, surprisingly true. No one dared to comment on them.

Eve and Patrick followed him, carrying a whole range of emotions: curiosity, fear, excitement, grief and longing.
The closer they got to the light, the more clearly they felt that with each step they were moving closer not only to the unknown source on the platform, but also to the limits of themselves. Their breaths drew a hazy aura in the cold air, and the echoes of their steps reverberated off the walls like whispered thoughts. The dark blue silence seemed to thicken around them, wrapping their arms in an invisible thread.
The moment they stopped just before the light, their gazes crossed. Each felt that something was about to happen that would change them forever. They heard a strange murmur....
