The Old Forest was a place where the light of morning always passed through the tangled treetops like a silent shadow. Animals lived by their own rules here, respecting boundaries and tacit agreements that no one ever wrote down. One May evening, a lazy mist began to ooze between the low ferns, heralding something unexpected. Lena, an agile cat with tortoiseshell fur, was basking on a fallen trunk when she felt the silence cease to be ordinary. Her ears perked up sharply, she lifted a paw, and something new could be sensed in the air - the scent of a stranger. A wolf emerged from behind the darkening birches. He wasn't like other predators - his stride was slow, almost cautious, and in his eyes the glare of the moon was mixed with regret. A rumour spread among the whispers of the grasses: the wolf brings trouble, the squirrels said. The woodpeckers tapped impatiently and the magpies were suddenly silent, following his movements. Not a single animal dared to speak out, until the night flooded the Forest with ink and Lena decided to follow the stranger's footsteps. She walked cautiously, not letting him out of her sight. She was struggling to catch the rumble of her own heart when she noticed that the wolf had stopped in a clearing, where a forgotten stone circle stood out of the ground. The wolf slowly began to howl, and the rhythmic echo spread far beyond the boundaries of the Forest. Then more shadows emerged from the darkness - unfamiliar silhouettes, ominous but silent.... What will happen when Lena decides to get closer?
