In a deep drawer, under a pile of colourful jumpers, there was a little Sock City. It was home to polka dot socks, striped socks, even socks with a picture of a dog or ice cream on a stick. The most famous sock was Mrs Melunia - pink with white stars, and she loved tidiness immensely. One morning, when the socks were getting ready for a big competition for the funniest hop, there was suddenly a loud laugh in town. It was Sock Lynx, the funniest in the whole drawer, who loved to play pranks. This time he decided to hide all the socks.... their own heels! When Mrs Melunia tried to put on her favourite shoes, it turned out that her heel had escaped and fell right over! The striped socks started sliding down the top to the bottom of the drawer like they were on a slide, and the butterfly socks started jumping on one foot because they only found one heel. All the residents of Sock Town were running, tripping and giggling as they tried to untangle their heels. Even the serious Mr Grey, who never laughed, now had a playful smile. Lynx just winked his eyes at everyone and whispered: - Whoever finds all the heels will become Super Sock of the Day! At that moment there was a strange knocking on the wall of the drawer, and a huge, fluffy sock, the likes of which no one in town had ever seen before, peeked out from around the corner....
