One sunny day, Marysia was walking in the forest with her dog Fafik. The sun was shining through the leaves and the birds were singing their joyful melodies. Suddenly, Marysia saw something very strange between the trees. There was a huge, colourful balloon! It flashed all the colours of the rainbow and slowly floated above the ground. Fafik made three quick circles around the balloon, barking with joy, and Marysia touched it carefully with her hand. To her surprise, the balloon suddenly spoke in a quiet, laughing voice: - Hey, Mary! Do you want to fly high above the forest with me? Marysia couldn't believe her ears. She looked at Fafika, who was already sitting ready to take off. The girl climbed onto the colourful balloon and sat down next to the doggie. The balloon was as soft as a cloud and tickled her feet a little. - Ready? - asked the balloon and before Marysia had time to answer, it rose slowly into the air. The trees were getting smaller and the clouds were getting bigger. Birds flew over their heads and a centuries-old oak waved to them from below. At one point, when they were flying really high, the balloon whispered: - Look over there, on the horizon! Do you see that shiny island made of candy and ice cream? Marysia strained her gaze. Indeed, at the end of the rainbow ray there was a colourful island shining, with huge purple butterflies swirling around it. Fafik licked his nose as he smelled vanilla and raspberries. - Candy island! - exclaimed Marysia. - I've never heard of such a thing! But what is it there, among the butterflies? A shadow appeared on the island.... something was moving, something that looked like a big, laughing teddy bear with rainbow wings. Was it possible?
