A grand expedition through an enchanted door
Lilka and Tom were siblings who loved spending time in the garden behind the house. Their best friend was a small, shaggy dog called Pimpek. One sunny afternoon, the children were playing hide and seek between the raspberry bushes and Pimpek was merrily running after the butterflies.
Suddenly Lilka noticed something unusual. Something silvery was shimmering behind an old currant bush. She walked closer and called out to Tom:
- Come here! That thing looks like a door!
Tom came quickly and they both looked in amazement at the small, round door hidden in the grass. The door looked as if it had been made especially for children - it was colourful, with flowers and stars painted on it. A grinning snail sat on the handle and moved its feelers as the children approached.
- 'Oh dear, do you think we can open them? - whispered Lilka.
- Let's give it a try! - replied Tom with a broad smile.
They gently turned the handle. Pimp barked quietly and swept the grass with his tail. The door opened with a soft creak and behind it was something they hadn't expected at all - twirling lights, soft clouds floating over a colourful meadow, and in the distance - an enchanted castle made of lollipops and sweets!
Lilka held Tom's hand and Pimpek cautiously stuck his nose out of the door. Suddenly, their laughter and singing came from inside the meadow. A large green butterfly appeared and invited them inside, flapping its wings merrily.
Would the children decide to enter this strange world? At the end of their garden, the greatest adventure of their lives was just waiting for them....
