Just like any other day, Olivia, Max and Laura met in the school library to work on notes for upcoming exams. Their school, St Augustine's Academy, was one of the oldest and most prestigious boarding schools in the country. Built on a hill overlooking a picturesque river, it was a real gem, full of history. The books they browsed were old, and some were so valuable that the librarian required special gloves to handle them. The three, though different, were inseparable. Olivia was nervous and always organised, Max was witty and always ready to have fun, and Laura was quiet and calm, always immersed in books. That day, however, something unusual happened in the library. They noticed that their notes, which they had left on the table for a while, started to disappear.
