Olek was seven years old and had a great imagination. What he enjoyed most was building various inventions in his room. His best friend was Robo-Cat Rex, who purred with an electronic voice and could count to a hundred. One morning Olek said: - Rex, let's build a rocket and fly into space! Robo-Cat meowed contentedly. Together, they spent the whole day assembling the rocket from cardboard boxes, a lamp and buttons from an old radio. When the rocket was ready, Olek put on his colander helmet, Rex blinked his eyes and the the countdown began. - Three, two, one... go! Suddenly, the room turned into a space vehicle, and stars started flashing all around outside the window. A moment later, the rocket landed on the red, mysterious planet. Olek and Rex stepped outside. Glowing mushrooms grew all around them, and a strange buzzing sound came from the distance. Suddenly, a large blue sphere appeared right in front of them and began to slowly open up....
