Mela was seven years old and had a huge imagination. She liked her room very much because it was full of her favourite books, teddy bears and colourful cushions. One day, just after waking up, she noticed something strange on the wall. A small door had appeared under the bookshelf. They were multicoloured and lit up like a rainbow. Mela approached them and saw a golden key lying right next to them. Her heart began to beat harder with emotion. - Where did this door come from? - she thought. Silently she opened the door with the key. Behind them was... a completely different place! It smelled of fruit, she could hear the laughter of strange creatures, and a little purple cat with a hat waved at her from below. - Hello, Mela! - said the kitten. - We've been waiting for you! Mela took a deep breath and... she really wanted to go further in, but suddenly she heard something rustling just outside the door. What was hiding on the other side? Would she meet someone else extraordinary? Mela had to find out!
