Once upon a time, in a small town on the edge of a forest, a huge, colourful circus appeared every year. This is where our story begins. The main character in this story is a little boy called Benjamin. Benjamin loved the circus, he loved all those wonderful shows, the smell of popcorn and the sight of amazing animals. But he was most fascinated by the Great Mr Wizzle - the most famous magician in the whole country. Whenever the colourful circus tents appeared on the horizon, Benjamin always ran there as fast as he could, climbed the highest hay mountain and watched from afar as the circus workers erected the tents and prepared the show. On this day, however, something was different. As soon as Benjamin climbed to the top of the hay mountain, he spotted Big Mr Wizzle talking to a giant white tiger. Benjamin felt his heart start to beat faster. For a moment he watched as if enchanted, until finally he decided to come closer. He crept up as quietly as he could, but failed to notice the small stone that rested in his path. He stumbled and fell, alerting the magician to its presence. The great Mr Wizzle turned around and his penetrating gaze cut through the silence....
