It's Halloween, the evening is cool and quiet. Ola is carrying a lantern made of a small pumpkin. Next to her walks her brother, Tymek, dressed as a bat. The path leads under an old tree by the library. On a branch hangs a card with a drawing of a pumpkin. On the card is a map to a little riddle. Ola reads: "Find the pumpkin that sings at night". Closer to the library there is a small box with a star. Inside lies a torch and a small compass. Tymek says: "This is the way for the brave". Behind the library a garden with bushes begins. The wind rustles the leaves and the lantern flickers strongly. Suddenly they hear a quiet sound, like a note from a lullaby. The sound comes from the alley between the fence and the shed. Ola picks up the lantern, takes two careful steps. The light touches the ground and stops on footsteps. They are the footprints of small shoes and.... pumpkin seeds. Out of the darkness, someone giggles and the shed door creaks. Someone moves the handle and the singing gets louder. Ola and Tymek hold their breath as the handle drops. A dark threshold swings open in front of them....
