Behind the village, just beyond the old oak tree, stretched the Forest of Whispers. Every morning, Antek, Zosia and their faithful dog Patch watched the sun's rays dance among the leaves. One warm morning, they decided that today was the day they would experience something special and set off on a grand expedition into the forest. A couple of friends took them: the bold Ola, who wasn't afraid of any spiders, and Kuba, who always had pockets full of sweets with him. They each had a backpack full of treats and a magnifying glass, because they might be able to see some unusual insects or birds! As they crossed the bridge over the murmuring stream, a quiet excitement swept over them. The sun was shining through the leaves and the wind was gently moving the grass. Children's laughter and Patch's barking could be heard along the forest paths. At one point, just outside an old clearing, Antek noticed something unusual. A silver doorknob glinted in the grass. Everyone came closer and saw that the handle was attached to a tiny green door, almost hidden by moss and leaves. The children looked at each other with wide-open eyes. Who could live here? Is this a fairy house, or perhaps a gnome house? Patch sniffed the door and wagged his tail, as if he knew something amazing was waiting for them. Would they dare to open the door and see what was inside?...
