Unheard of things were happening in Mrs Noodle's kitchen today. Carrot, Parsley and Potato gathered in the middle of the big table, right next to a bowl full of steaming cabbage soup. - Whoever gets to the pan first will be the Taste King! - exclaimed Carrot, laughing at Tomato, who was trying to put a lettuce leaf on his head like a hat. - As long as you don't slip on an onion! - added Potato and looked around vigilantly, because everyone knew that onions like to play tricks. Suddenly, a pea jumped out of the cupboard and started rolling across the countertop like a green ball. - Look out, I'm off to the race! - he called out, laughing loudly. But just as the vegetables moved towards the pan, they heard a quiet tapping from under the pot lid. What could that have been? Is there a mysterious visitor hiding under the lid? The vegetables froze in mid-step, looking at each other with wide-open eyes....
