In a small village, right next to a big green forest, lived a girl called Susie. Every morning Susie woke up together with her dog Fuchsia, who waved his tail and waited for them to run together on an outing. One day, when the sun was shining exceptionally brightly, Susie and Fuchs went into the forest to pick strawberries. They walked quietly between the trees until suddenly Fuchs started barking and jumping for joy. A small bridge made of coloured planks appeared in front of them. Susie was sure it had never been here before! Speckles of light danced on the planks and a small red stone lay in the middle of the bridge. Susie walked closer, and Fuchsia wagged her tail and looked at the bridge with curiosity. The girl gently touched the stone - it was warm, as if the sun was shining on it. Suddenly, something rustled from the dense bushes. For a moment, Susie wasn't sure whether she should cross the bridge or go home. Fuchsia was already standing with one paw on the first plank, and the sun was shining stronger and stronger. What was hiding on the other side of the bridge? Who was waiting there?
