Zosia came to her new school in the morning. Her backpack was heavy with crayons and notebooks. The classroom smelled of paint and fresh paper. Ms Marta smiled and waved. - Sit down, Zosia, today is going to be interesting - she said. Zosia sat down at a bench by the big window. She noticed a small sticker with an owl in the tabletop. Suddenly the sticker flashed like a star on a Christmas tree. Zosia touched the owl with one finger, very carefully. The bench rang quietly, like a toy bell. A secret drawer slid out in front of Zosia. Inside lay a sheet of paper with a drawing of a corridor. At the end of the corridor was a marker in the shape of an owl. - This is a map of our school - Zosia whispered. The lady was writing in chalk, so nobody noticed anything. Suddenly the owl on the piece of paper moved its eye and nodded. The classroom door creaked open and the map began to glow. Zosia stood up quietly and took the first step.
