Maja and Philip were siblings and lived in a colourful little house right by the woods. Behind the house they had their own garden. It was no ordinary garden - there were plants growing in it that appeared whenever the children felt something very strongly. Joyful moments made yellow flowers with soft petals grow. When someone was brave, a leaf as tall as a sunflower appeared, and when the children were angry, red, spiky berries began to grow in the beds. Maya and Philip loved to watch the garden change, and often talked about their experiences while watering the plants. One morning, as the sun was sneaking through the leaves, the children noticed something completely new. A small, silvery branch began to grow in the middle of the garden. It looked different from all the plants they knew. Philip felt his heart beat faster and Maja squeezed his hand tighter. A plant like this had never appeared in their garden before. - Where did this branch come from? - Maja whispered. - Maybe it's because we had a fight yesterday and then I missed it a lot. - wondered Philip. The twig slowly grew higher and higher, giving off a soft blue light. The children felt joy, curiosity and a little fear all at once.
