A thick fog shrouded the old castle ruins on the hill as Lena, Michael and Ada climbed the mossy staircase. The night was silent and the only sound was their breaths and the creaking of branches. They all felt a strange unease, but curiosity overcame fear. They held in their hands a yellowed parchment - a map they had found by chance in an abandoned library near the city. According to legend, the labyrinth hidden deep beneath the ruins was said to be a place where reality intermingles with magic, and the voices of ancient wizards still whisper to brave daredevils. It was said that whoever passed through the corridors of the Labyrinth of Whispers would learn the secrets of the world - but no one had yet returned from there the same. Lena lit the torch, its light dancing across the symbols carved in the stone. Michael read out the next clue on the map: "Three steps towards the moon, then look for the sign of the raven". Ada felt a cold shiver run down her spine as the creaking door to the underground opened with a loud groan. The stairs led downwards, deeper and deeper underground. The walls were overgrown with glowing blue lichen, and a soft whispering sound came from the distance, as if someone was saying their names. Suddenly, Lena stopped - she saw a painting on the wall depicting the three of them, dressed as they were that night, standing in the depths of the mysterious labyrinth. "It's probably... impossible," she whispered. Suddenly, the corridor split. One led towards a pulsating light, the other disappeared into total darkness. There was a sense of magic and risk in the air. The quiet whisper became louder: "Choose wisely. Each path carries its own fate..." The friends looked at each other uncertainly, their hearts pounding like hammers. They had to make a decision, not knowing whether there was a miracle around the next bend... or a danger from which there would be no turning back.
