Enchanted forest and silver bench
Gabrysia really enjoyed going for walks in the nearby forest. One sunny afternoon she took her cat Mufka with her. Mufka was fluffy, white as a cloud and had a funny pink nose.
The forest was full of smells, birdsong and rustling leaves. Gabrysia walked deeper and deeper, following the melodious laughter of the brook. The muff muttered quietly and tried to catch butterflies. At one point, the girl noticed something strange between the trees. Where there was usually nothing, a silver bench appeared. Its legs looked like twisted twigs and the backrest shimmered with a thousand little lights.
Gabrysia approached cautiously and Mufka jumped in front of her, wagged her tail and stretched her paw towards the bench. Suddenly, the air around her began to smell of vanilla and sounded like bells. Under the bench was a small purple pebble that shone with a light of its own.
Gabrysia sat down on the bench and gently touched the pebble. At the same moment, the whole clearing around them lit up with coloured sparks. The muff began to spin in circles, and a strange silhouette leaned out from behind a large oak tree.... What or who had appeared there? Gabrysia stared wide-eyed, clutching a glowing pebble in her hand.
