Did You Know?

An adventure in the Hundred Acre Wood

An adventure in the Hundred Acre Wood
Leon the fox wakes up early in the morning in his burrow under the big spruce tree. Today is a special day! Leon has invited his best friends Tola the owl, Philip the hare and Maya the squirrel for a forest walk in the Hundred Acre Wood. The sun is shining brightly and colourful flowers are blooming in the glade. The birds are singing merry tunes and the fresh grass tickles their paws. The friends hop merrily towards the old oak tree, which has stood in the middle of the forest for hundreds of years. - I wonder what we will find today! - says Maja cheerfully, doing a flip. - Maybe we'll meet a new friend? - wonders Filipek, looking around. When they get to the huge oak tree, suddenly everyone freezes. Somewhere from behind the thick trunk a quiet rustling can be heard, as if someone is pawing through the leaves. Then a low squeak reaches their ears and.... suddenly a small, fluffy ball jumps out of the bushes! - What could it be? - whispers Tola, squinting her eyes and trying to see more. The friends approach the moving leaves cautiously. Their hearts beat faster with each passing moment. Suddenly all their paws come to a standstill as something they have never seen before emerges from the leaves....
