Zosia finds a hidden tunnel in her drawer and slips into a strange, glowing world full of music, moss, and mystery.
Zosia had a small, cosy room and a wooden chest of drawers that she loved more than any other thing in it. On a rainy afternoon, she sat on the floor to sort her crayons into neat little rows.
When she pulled open the bottom drawer, a tiny voice whispered, "Psst!" Zosia froze. She peeked inside and gasped. Deep behind her crayons, the drawer did not end at the back wall at all. It opened into a glittering tunnel, swirling with rainbow light.
Zosia glanced around her room. No one was there except Fluffy, her teddy bear, sitting very still on the bed. She hugged him tight. "Come on, Fluffy," she whispered.
Together, they climbed into the drawer. It stretched on and on, longer than Zosia could understand. The air grew cool and sweet. Soft green moss cushioned her feet, and pale pink mushrooms glowed above her like little lanterns.
Then, from somewhere far ahead, came the sound of laughter. Soft music drifted through the tunnel too, quick and chiming, as if someone invisible was playing it just for them. Zosia looked at Fluffy, her eyes wide.
"I think we've found a secret world," she said.
Just then, something stirred in the moss. A tiny door, no bigger than her hand, flickered into view, bright as a spark, and slowly swung open.
